Thanks to the work process that implements cutting-edge technologies, the experience of highly qualified staff, total control over the components produced and efficient service, L.M. GIANETTI counts among its customers, the most important motorsport teams (F1, WRC, WTCC, GT) and companies in the automotive sector, for which prototype parts are manufactured using the most modern materials.
Moreover, we produce special components for the aeronautical and naval sectors.
MILLING AND ELECTRO-EROSION
The milling and electro-erosion department processes special materials with work centres consisting of 3 to 5 axes, equipped with SPECIAL 3R tools and NIKKEN, SHOWA and NT mandrels.
All 5-axis machines feature presetting laser and RENISHAW testing systems.
All machines are connected via wireless to the technical office which works on CAD-CAM stations, able to manage and convert any type of mathematical format.
The milling department consists of 8 stations with 5-axis machines, 5 stations with 3/4-axis machines, 2 EDM machines and in conclusion, a boring machine with working surface of 2500x1200x1200mm, featuring built-in board.
The turning department consists of 6 NC lathes and 3 parallel lathes, that ensure the same precision on small size components, as well as on parts of large sizes.
We are able to work bars up to a diameter of 700 mm.
ASSEMBLED AND WELDED COMPONENTS
L.M. GIANETTI is considered a leader firm in the manufacturing of welded and assembled components, in particular for suspension systems.
The welding department is able to modify entire monocoques, manufacture and homologate rollcages and manufacturer suspension components with 10 welding stations and a vacuum welder.
Moreover, we use stations and special equipment featuring electronic instruments to check, modify and weld rollcages and monocoques.
